Saturday, June 13th 2015, in and around Victoria

Morris dancing is a centuries-old English tradition, done by teams of dancers called "sides". It is lively, energetic and fun ... and is always done to live music on traditional instruments. This is your chance to see a gathering of several Morris sides, called an "Ale", with performances by smaller groups on Saturday morning, June 13th, at James Bay Market, Langford Market, in Bastion Square, Market Square, and Centennial Square. We are celebrating the 90th birthday of one of our dancers, so obviously Morris is good for you!

There will be a mass dance with all the sides dancing in front of the Legislative Buildings from 3 - 5 pm ... complete with town crier!

Come and see what it's all about, enjoy the music and the lively Morris capers, wish Fred a happy birthday ... even try a dance or two if you like!
