The definitive 4K edited version is now up:  https://youtu.be/AdibpCau0_I

The actual fireworks lasted just over 7 minutes.  Like others have said, a bit underwhelming.  Well, trust me to squeeze every last drop of quality and entertainment out of those precious 7 minutes.  Stick around afterwards for the "trek home" section.

System Requirements:  No small screens!   :D

The death of a star...

So the great thing about shooting fireworks in 4K is that you can do great frame by frame stills.  These are just in HD.  And yeah, I've been watching too many Wonders of the Universe episodes.   :)

Sure wish I known about them. My place faces the wrong way. Could hear them though.

Was fun watching Facebook blow up.

How much do you think that cost? $10,000s?

instead of canada day downtown this year a couple city vehicles should just drive around town firing off roman candles and screechers this year from 9pm to midnight.  no set routes so crowds don't gather.

screecher is the generic term for screecher-oo type fireworks.  like freezie is the generic term for Mr. Freeze type frozen treats.

I’m not saying I approve of either but not much worse than 7 o’clock lately, in fact I have heard fireworks several times at that time. How about just some LED lights and an artificial heart? Or is that to confirm everyone has gone crazy?
