Upcoming Park Improvements

The City of Victoria is currently preparing a park improvement plan to help guide future improvements to the park.

The key factors driving the need to update the park include:
• The age and condition of the playground equipment
• The condition of the beginner portion of skate park
• Possible fencing of the leash-optional dog park
• Use of the sports field for some activities is limited due to the condition and grading of the field
• Increased density in the neighbourhood

Everything they're suggesting seems to make sense and should be relatively affordable. A job well done I think.

Looking forward to a paved pathway with lights.  In the winter the current path tends to flood in some spots.
