Why not build skate parks at the two new schools as well as Juan de Fuca Rec?  

Where are the skateboard parks in Victoria? Do all the schools have one?

The skate parks in Victoria are the one on Equimalt Rd as well as every sidewalk in the city Oh and also every road too.

.and if good old Stew doesn't consider Central Park... Central City Park... whatever that area with the Bowling Alley is called is a large recreational area then nothing is.

Stew wants other municipalities to step up and spend some money.

People moan and drool about non Victorians using the JSB and that they should pay something for using it but on the other hand Langford is now the go to municipality for shopping and recreation and its mostly outsiders complaining that there is no skate park.

Colwood can step up on this one.

I could care less about there being a skate park. More fun in the irony of your comments though. You sure do support the idea of tent city.

Oh, and those big box stores... Langford profits big time from us city folk shopping in Langford.

But, anyways build a Costco somewhere else and a Glenwood Meats and I would happily NEVER step foot in Langhole again (you can keep Stupid Store)!

Actually I don't support tent city in it form full of thieves my comments about homeless are directed at people's comments that citizens should be shipped back to where they came from which is not right

The first phase of the shopping centre is estimated to be ready for Tenant possession on July 1, 2017.

Well, given that my original post is from January (10 months ago)...

I think the issue nay be that there are just not enough tradesmen around to start that project and possibly not enough gravel trucks and excavation equipment
There are dozens of large projects being built throughout the crd as well as hundreds of homes
I see many sites with help wanted signs in place including Mayfair mall site and a condo on peatt rd

I'm not sure where the vitriol against Langford is coming from, what the hell? Trying to have a civil discussion in here and you can't refrain of name calling in a thread about a grocery store?! It's embarrassing.
