Any bets on how long that block will be without a sidewalk? It's gotta be over 6 months by now with at least one to go.

To me its the double standard issue with the City.  When I wanted to shut down a sidewalk I told them I would divert people to the other side of the street for that block and back again and they said no.  I had to take out a lane of parking with barricades, etc, and temp ramps for wheelchairs, etc, etc to ensure people didn't have to cross the street.  I haven't been by here to look close, but I will one day, and take lots of pictures.  They have now set the standard going forward.  Even if I hit a water main, what happened on this site is all they will get from me.

Any updated news for completion date? Am I mistaken to believe that they will likely need more than one year from the present state of progress?

What is happening with the supermarket that was supposed to be built kitty corner to the Wade? Is the project moving forward? If yes, where precisely will it be but and when would it potentially be finished?

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Johnson Street is back to two lanes now at Cook following last fall's collapse.

I wrote to Chris Coleman and CoV public works several times starting last April and was promised it would be fixed within a few weeks...of course construction weeks are measured using Pluto time!

That should have been a priority being that its a transit route and a major arterial. Heck they can arrange and move a statue in a few days yet take 7 months to fix a road...

I'm glad to finally see some upward progress being made, instead of simply digging deeper and deeper.

So I count 4 guys on this entire jobsite, now we know why this one is moving at a snails pace.  Someone is dreaming if they think this is going to be done by August/September
