I see it now. The parking entrance appears to be going under the east end of the south building. For whatever reason, I didn't think you were allowed to have an entrance going under the actual building. I thought it had to enter at the side of a building. I've just seen so many projects doing it that way so I thought it was a code thing.

November 16

We're starting to see the parking ramp taking shape now.

The shell of the Medical Arts Building looks ready for interior work following demolition. It's a major benefit to have a building already 'built.'

I think tjv might be right on this one....end 2019/early 2020. With the weather and holiday season coming up it will take till spring to finish the structure at this pace.

Not sure if the old medical buildings help so much other than less man power is required for the concrete work. The new building has to be finished for the development to be finished.

Everyone is in the same boat with the labour shortage.

I am seeing signs of the labour shortage easing as the market slows

Drove by there today. Men and equipment toiling away in the hole. I’ll stop and grab a photo when the monsoons ease up.

Any are better than none for those of us that are far away and want to know where they stand. Has anybody received any official update as to the approximate date the building will be ready? The last official thing we heard was May-July but I guess the ship has already sailed for that date.

Right, the likelihood of completion anywhere near that date is extremely slim.

I too would like to know. Can anyone advise of an official update or why none has been communicated?

In the last update what was the outside window date for completion? Late spring was the target, but what was the max?

The last update that I received was dated April 2018. As you can see, it states a date between May 1, 2019 and July 31, 2019.

I would imagine another amendment is coming. That’s pretty normal given the construction situation in Victoria.

Prolly the parking garage ramp wall.
