Thank you Zoomer. You’ve done such a great service for the VV community.

@Mike, can you have a conversation with the developer to find out when the actual completion and/or when closing paperwork will be sent out to folks for the south building - as Levi has expressed, a lot of folks are planning their lives around what will be the actual and truthful completion date for this building.

Hopefully this project gets done soon. Personally, the thought of living in a condo simply does not appeal to me. Obviously others find it their best choice.  Different strokes for different folks.

Doesn't appeal much to me either but not everyone has that choice.

I’ve emailed them to double check if the link is wrong or the date is wrong.

Know it all.

Nevermind, they sent the incorrect link.

Occupancy has been given, they are registering the land titles. They say a week for that.

NORTH BUILDING

The City of Victoria issued our OCCUPANCY PERMIT yesterday!! We will now register the property with the Land Titles Office and that could take approximately a week. Then I will send out an email to all Purchasers of the North building on the next step.

For those of you in the North Building who have not contacted me to arrange a walk through of your suite for the “Pre-Delivery Inspection”, please contact me to arrange an appointment.

I can confirm that Strata plan has now been filed under strata plan EPS6871. Reviewing the plan I can confirm that the parking stalls are limited common property as some were asking earlier i believe.

Likely take 1 to 2 weeks for registration but depends on how busy they are etc.

Now that it’s coming down to the home stretch on this one, maybe we can pull Zoomer off of his other weekend duties and get him back on a weekly weekend update instead of the biweekly approach. That sidewalk has become the most exciting sidewalk in all of Victoria. Let’s see the progress

Way back in the day when my condo was overdue the developer bought me a week at a Traveller's Inn. I quite enjoyed it although it felt a bit strange being technically homeless and living in a hotel on someone else's dime.

The delays can be challenging, especially for young people with limited resources, and rather nerve racking. Hopefully the building will finally be done this month or the next at the latest.

Might want to ask the developer if you can move some of your stuff into storage unit. Makes it easier when you are ready to move into your unit.

or keep your u-haul for a few days.  the daily fee is not much compared to the hassle of a double-move.

for security you could also live in the truck.  extra savings.

Keeping the U-haul is a great idea especially since you will not be putting mileage on it. I am guessing that as a young man you have a pretty limited amount of stuff.
