Keeping the U-haul is a great idea especially since you will not be putting mileage on it. I am guessing that as a young man you have a pretty limited amount of stuff.

that's not always true.  look at king tut.

Vic Wtcher  Lots of luck getting anything more than the absolute bare minimum into those condos.

I strongly suggest NOT keeping a uhaul full of your stuff sitting around. They’re easy to steal and thieves love to steal a whole household of belongings so easily.

I was wondering if the developer would allow me to move my furniture into the unit before completion but I bet theres a lot of insurance reasons not to allow it

Looks like someone sleeping out front - anxious to move in! Not much visible sidewalk progress, except for the installation of Samsung HVAC along Pandora, and some initial landscaping along Johnson street. Still a few balconies needing their metal face plate.

Thanks Zoomer. It also looks like they’ve painted that mysterious orange gate black.

Let’s hope those panels get finished up for next weekend!

Sometimes that's all people have or want.  It's not for you or I, but let them enjoy their homes.

Wade buyer here (south building). Due to the delays, I'll be stuck between places for a few weeks. I'm able to stay with a friend for a few weeks if needed, but would rather find something else affordable if possible. Any places doing decent weekly rental rates?

i think your best bet is air BnB.  tell the host exactly what you are up to.  a local with a very good reason for staying locally is usually a good tenant risk.  you might find a good rate.  and with some flexibility maybe.

I don't know about that. I think it's meant to look retro, and represent the era when the medical arts building was first constructed.
