It looks nice; aught to be popular with tourists. I'll stop by sometime in November.
It's bigger than I remember, and the outdoor seating is cool, and the entry lounge is very nice. The whole space is very attractive, right down to the bathrooms. Well, the men's bathroom anyway, did not check the other.
Ya, I had a chat with the owner this morning, he's always in a positive mood, but he seems very excited by what he's seeing downtown.
As any place does with this type of set-up, it'll have challenges with walk-by traffic, it's the whole fear of "commitment" when you walk up the stairs. What if it's not what you imagined, very few people like the thought of turning and leaving, so they fear entry to begin with. That's not a problem with locals, of course. See: The Mint etc.
The Rooftop Surf Club at Sticky Wicket has problems luring in walk-bys. I can talk to visitors at the main floor Sticky Bar there and 9/10 do not know there is a rooftop space.
