Work to begin on Sidney's Tulista Park Skatepark

Skateboarders on the Saanich Peninsula are one step closer to kickflips and boardslides at a new skatepark as crews prepare for preliminary soil work at Sidney’s Tulista Park.

 

Approved earlier this year for the north end of the popular 5th Street green space, a $300,000 skateboarding facility will be ready for skaters of all ages by the spring of 2017. A six month soil preparation process will begin in several weeks with a construction start planned for February of next year. [Full article]
