Yup, some.

Sorry Rob, only the martinizing service is one hour.

Mike K can you shed some light on the plans of what is happening with the drycleaners?? Would you recommend buying into the 800 block of Johnson now? I feel like once all of these towers go up that area will be the place to be! All that Harris Green needs will be a shopping mall

Personally, I'd wait and see if 844 Johnson's days are numbered.

They were excavating here today, unless it was just an exercise to move some soil around. That side of the former Central Care Home is looking really beat up. Can’t imagine the residents will respond very well to be woken up at 7 a.m.

Really looking forward to this project, it’s mini badass in so many ways!

Lot of digging again here today,  dump trucks coming and going, lot of soil piled up on tarps.  Is there some sort of contamination issue?

Also I seem to have missed this whole thread.  Didn't mind the design of the building, but then I made the mistake and looked back at the first proposals.  Heartbreaking, like always.

There was some sort of used car place here previously, so perhaps there is soil contamination.

The extreme right of this photo shows it was a gas station going way back so very easily could still be tanks underground there....

You can just make out the pumps on a diagonal island.

On a completely off topic note, the building where Wildfire is now was amazing.

Has this project actually been approved?

Last update from August was that this is still with the ADP. So still design revisions.

But they do have a permit to excavate for a temporary water service.

The developer confirms that Campbell is undertaking soil remediation on-site while the project continues to make its way through the approvals process.

I guess they are assuming this will get approved by the city without too many changes or significant time delays.

well the site will get developed either now or in the future and completing soil remediation only increases the value of the site

not surprised its Campbell, they do all the work for Alpha.  Campbell used to do only the formwork for Alpha, but as soon as Campbell left site usually the project would fall apart.  Fred and Bijan recognized that and stopped being their own general contractor

At least they managed to get rid of the utility pole in V 4

And we have a Version 5! The podium is now brown, and Juliette balconies have been added.

This looks good enough for a rental building let's get it going! Awesome how rental buildings have the same floorplans all the way up to the penthouse level.
