I recall reading something about the original Demitasse owners returning and that 'everything was back to normal, like it used to be' or something like that.
"Beaver, ahoy!""The bridge is like a magnet, attracting both pedestrians and over 30,000 vehicles daily who enjoy the views of Victoria's harbour. The skyline may change, but "Big Blue" as some call it, will always be there."

The Subject Property presents a rare opportunity to acquire a parcel in a highly desirable location within Victorias densifying and evolving downtown city-centre. The Subject Property is situated directly across the street from 1515 Douglas, a recently completed office complex with ground floor retail, and nearby existing and future residential and commercial high-rise developments, all of which are furthering the gentrification of the immediate neighbourhood. Maynard Building Iconic heritage registered property located in a dynamic and rapidly growing area of Downtown Victoria. Property features 60 feet of frontage on Pandora Avenue, and the low site coverage provides ample on-site parking (monthly rental) and future potential to add density. Located within Downtown Victorias Core Area Plan The Subject Property is situated within the Downtown Core Area, which aims to remain as the Capital Region's primary economic, social, arts, cultural, and entertainment centre. The Subject Property is designated for up to 24 stories in height and support up to 6.0X FSR with permitted uses such as: commercial institutional and mixed-use buildings oriented to the street. Strength of Immediate Area Strategically located along Pandora Avenue and Johnson Street, two essential thoroughfares connecting downtown to Victorias surrounding communities, and is walking distance to essential amenities such as grocery, retail, restaurants, financial and medical services, civic centres, attractions, and parks. Strong Demographics The Subject Property is located within the centre of Downtown Victoria's core, which has experienced a 10.0% growth rate since 2015 and is positioned to capitalize on the continued growth through mid to high-rise developments. Holding Income The Subject Property benefits from considerable holding income secured by a strong tenant mix with additional parking income.

As long as John's Place stays, I don't care who owns the building.
