I presume occupancy will take place sometime later this year?
Disclosure statement says the Yates building's estimated completion date is between September 1 and December 1, 2020.

Oh I know, but I'm wondering whether they have an approximate measurement in meters or feet when they're complete. Sometimes that varies from how many stories there are. I'm wondering because I can't seem to find any renderings online showing in what way the buildings would affect the skyline, if at all.

The consensus is they’ll barely make a dent. The height is in the 65 meter range for both buildings.
The same way the Montrose hotel project would barely be a blip on the skyline.

Height variance was for 59.7 m. The scans are fairly low quality but are available here: https://pub-victoria...documentid=6853
The two towers just barely peek out in the skyline.

Plus mechanical, surely?
Plus mechanical. I guess Victoria doesn't include this in the building height? The drawings very clearly show the mechanical above the measured building height, but no measurement is provided to the top of the mechanical so without looking at a Building Permit plan we can't know how tall the buildings really are.

Sometimes yes and sometimes not. It’s a bit confusing at times.
Odd. I guess I'm just used to Richmond where the maximum building height is the maximum building height because, you know, planes and all that.

Have you read my Richmond vs. 747 story?

According to Chard's winter e-newsletter they emailed a few days ago, they just poured concrete for the 16th floor last week.

I was having trouble figuring out if it was at 16, 17 or 18 floors. As I was coming back from Uptown yesterday along Blanshard I noticed that YoY was just starting to make an appearance on the skyline.
