Are there any visible changes at construction sites in general? Additional facilities for workers?  Has Covid caused any delays to this project?

Now that the pandemic curve has flattened and we are in the spring market, any guesses on what to expect in regards to activity and pricing?

It looks like Flynn is doing the windows for this project, or at least some of them. They're also the window company that is handling the work at The Wade. It looks like they're making a big entry onto the local market.

Let's hope the window installation here is a bit speedier than at the Wade.

Already up to the 4th floor on the concrete building!  How close are the town homes to the wood frame building in your photo?  Would most of the suites in the wood frame building have little to NO view south to Rockland? There seems to be very little spacing.  Did you have any photos of the south exposure?

The building is oriented with east and west views, so not many suites will look south.

The plans show the closest distance between the SW corner of the southernmost townhouse and the Cypress building is 9.3 m (30.4 ft.). There is a public path and extensive plantings in between the buildings. What's your point?

As Mike says, the longer faces of Cypress are oriented to the East and to the West. As a result, only six units on floors 2 through 4 look directly south. The ground floor has a driveway and lobby entrance on the south side, again with extensive plantings to act as a buffer the the neighbour.

Just wondered what the view from Cypress would be as the image posted looked like there was very little spacing.  But if there is 30' it's much more than what appears in the image.

Will the concrete building have any views over the three banks of town homes?

Looks like from downtown, so we're looking east-southeast.

Are the penthouses steel structure, rather than reinforced concrete, or is that simply forming? It would make sense, as I don't believe they are brick-faced like floors 1-5, but rather have bronzed metal panels. Also, lots of glazing.

Just a guess, a telephoto lens and you were on a rooftop 1137 View St?  Just using google maps

Must be from well north of View Street. In the bottom left corner isn't that the roof of the medical building on Yates near Cook? My guess would be from something on the Mondrian's block. Either Mondrian or the new building on the Pandora corner that I can never remember the name of, or the older building closer to Vancouver Street that I can also never remember the name of. Or possibly the new Save-On Foods building, which I can never remember the name of.

Edit: "V1488" or "Pacific Monarch".

Another edit: Save-On Foods building would seem to be too short for that perspective. Maybe further back from the Sandpiper?

Perhaps in this age of drones and featureless buildings there should be a series of shapes on top so that they can be identified, even during power outages. Cones, balls, arrows, etc., on a pole, like a day mark.  Modern heraldry. LOL

Wow, I suppose it could be from 989 Johnson or even HP1. Marko gets around.
