Interesting is one way of putting but not the first word that comes to mind.

Who knows?  The latest purchaser update says that cabinetry and countertops are in process up to the 3rd level of Cypress, and baseboards and millwork up to the 4th level. That building just flew along.

All the windows should now be in on Oaks and framing is underway.

My WAG would be mid to late summer next year, but I have no inside info.

COVID, and the city of Victoria, as a tourist city, have so many investment owner properties.  How far will property values fall when the Liberals ( Trudeau ) introduce their own Capital Gains tax measure to pay for the COVID debts????????

Rumors have the tax at 50% if you own under a year and the tax would have a decending scale the longer you have owned. This will make things more affordable!!!!

Governments have demonstrated their willingness to try anything to ease the post-1945 housing crunch. (Anything except making it quicker, cheaper, and easier to build housing, that is.)

That's more than thread drift. Why don't you simply post in the COVID 19 thread?

Abstract's recent update includes: appliance installation is nearly complete in the Cypress building; Cypress is undergoing final paint application on levels 3 and 4; drywall is complete on levels 1 through 4 of Oaks building; installation of hardwood floors, cabinets and countertops are nearing completion on level 1 of Oaks; excavation to commence next month for the center block of townhomes.

It still appears they are suggesting a "Spring" occupancy for some units in Cypress, and later in the Fall for Oaks.

When I was past the site on the weekend, it appears they are now working on the retaining walls and driveway/paths leading to Cypress. However, I don't see them finishing the main parkade access off Fort St. any time soon. Perhaps they plan on accommodating early Cypress occupants by using the surface parking stalls to the rear of Cypress, but there is only 13 stalls there + a handicapped stall and 3 visitor spaces.

The reference to "nature" is obviously an effort to draw attention to the amount of greenspace and landscaped areas on the site.

The project certainly has more than the norm.

Starting to come together. Thanks for the image.

Not sure what percentage the project has sold out to date? But, would this be a project that will sell out once its complete, rather than presale?  Many people have a hard time committing to a Floor Plan not being able to envision what they are purchasing.  Bellewoods is at a price point that would be fitting for people moving out of large homes in Rockland, Uplands to mention a few.

Will this be the ticket to see Bellewoods sell out?
