OMG I am the collective age of everyone in the above photos. Do they have a seniors' special?

Oh for gosh sakes, NParker. Anybody can go and have a good time...
Oh I know. As I think I have mentioned a few times, I am frequent visitor to the Granville Street location in Vancouver, and the crowd is pretty youthful there too. It's just a little less common to see so little, white, blue and grey hair in a restaurant setting in Victoria.

^ ^ Not unlike Darcy's or The Local, or even the Strath. The only place that stays older all night is Bart's, lol.

^ Ha ha, I have! And the last time was with my mom!

Reports suggest this guy uses the same ruse often on Tinder, pretending to manage a bar, and offering jobs. Mostly on the Mainland.
I've heard it was a response to some sort of Craigslist ad - employment is not the sort of job you seek out on tinder.
Whatever the case, it clearly hasn't hurt them too much as they are having no problem filling the place.

I don't think anyone sought out a job on Tinder. But you might have a chat on Tinder or off Tinder before you meet for a date, and the topic of employment may come up.
"Oh, that's neat, what I'm here in Victoria for is opening a new bar, I'm a manager, I can get you a job".
188 to 115 is the score now.

Went in for a burger at lunch. It was good, particularly for the price. With a pop ($2.95), after tax + 15% tip, came out to $9.55... good option for lunch, and I'm sure it'll be popular for dinner and into the evenings.

Went for lunch yesterday right at noon, too busy to take any photos (ie. I would have had to ask patrons if it was OK).
My date asked for coffee, they do not serve coffee or tea.
I enjoyed it, I guess. It's a very limited draft beer menu, and nothing local to Victoria.
They do not take debit BTW. Cash or credit. And contrary to their FB page, they are only open until 1am, not 2am (server said they were applying for 2am closing). I forget what the City's policy is on late-night eateries, and food service. The Mint is open until 2am.

This VICE article gives the title of Toronto's worst bar to El Furniture Warehouse - https://www.vice.com...rned-everything
El Furniture Warehouse if you are fortunate enough to be unaware, is a Canadian chain that specializes in cheap eats, overpriced drinks and an extreme sports/first half of Spring Breakers aesthetic that will make you root for the society destroying effects of climate change.
