True, but the Vancouver project is still a strata, i.e. you can buy commercial space in the building. And, yes, I recognize the irony of that...

That iron reference fell flat. Don't be steamed at me for saying it.

Now people are getting hot under the collar. Let's change the subject and talk about the elephant in the room: wrinkled VV forumers are no fun.

Don't tell anyone but we already used a few of the more obvious iron puns on page 18 of this thread.
I never thought I'd see the day when we'd be getting repetitive.

I wonder it we'll ever see the day when Victoria buries its unsightly power lines?
In London and Paris all power lines were installed underground even before the Second World War and Hong Kong has all of its power lines underground, while Seoul sits at roughly 50%. Tokyo passed an ordinance in 2014 to bury all their power lines in central Tokyo near all the Olympic venues for the 2020 Olympics.
I know full well it will "cost" but damn they're ugly to have to look at. If we could even bury them perhaps in Old Town, the Leg precinct and perhaps a few other select high visibility locations that would improve the aesthetics, not to mention protect them from whatever future weather events the power grid will be subject to.
BTW the Iron Woks looks awesome, can't wait for it to be completed and hopefully act as a stimulus to completely re-make that shoddy area of the Old Town core.
