We're excited to see you all Thursday thru Sunday from 5 - 12 for the month of January! Wishing everyone a very happy New Year!

They have a bit of a bizarre sign in the window saying "due to staffing issues, these are are reduced hours.." or something similar.

OK, so this is the old Clay Pidgeon site at Blanshard and Broughton.

Why are restaurants so cagey about their location on their webpages?

Every time I look up a restaurant there is never a photo of the outside, only stock photos of laughing hipsters. And they only have an address, once in a while a tiny map you have to click on and look around. Never mention of cross streets. I have no idea where 1002 Blanshard is without looking it up. Would it kill them to say "1002 Blanshard (at Broughton)"?

Thank you for listening to my rant of the day.

I agree.  I also take the sign to mean "God damn it, we can not keep a single second-cook without them quitting 10 days later.  Forget it, we'll just go with the one reliable one we have and wing it for January".

They'd love to just run as a cocktail bar, bur their food-primary does not allow that.
