The current census can be done the same or better with other methods and sampling.
Counting every person and all those questions can be better done with computers. Instead we use essentially the same system as we used 100 years ago.

On the news tonight the head of the census says that they have 30,000 enumerators and one will come knocking at your door.
Better off just to lie and fabricate, they never come to check that.
Maximum penalty is a $500 fine, so no bigee.
