11th floor if you take into account that floor 6 & 7 are one in the same in the above photo. ;)

They are not one in the same, even though it looks like it. Look at the outhouse/portapotty on floor 6, in the corner, you can just catch the top of it. Hard to see the difference between floors 6 and 7 though since floor 7 is stepped back from the floors below.

Walk east/west along Johnson to get a better view of the building and then you'll see the distinction between 6 and 7. So... Floor 10 working on floor 11 :-)

Here is a photo from a month ago, with a better view. They were on floor 9 prepping to do floor 10 back on Jan 4th.

That's all that I meant...they appear to be the same the way they are identified in the previous photo.

What is the size is the commercial floorplan for this building? How many commercial tenants will there be? Have they been leased already?

Seeing the above photos makes me realize how desperately both sides of the block of Quadra between Johnson and Yates needs a do-over.

It’s amazing how stubby 20 floor buildings actually are. This town can easily handle 30-storeys.

Agreed.

The Yates on Yates still has 2 more platforms to go though (floor of 20th story and roof of 20th story) plus the elevator columns and whatever else goes on the roof. I suspect it won't look QUITE as stubby when that's done.

If it were as tall as the peak of the crane it would certainly have a nice aesthetic. What would that be? 24-storeys, 25 maybe?

I find that the Hudson One building that's nearly done sticks out like a sore thumb though.

It wouldn't if there were more 20+ storey buildings in downtown Victoria.

Viewing HP1 from the east or west, it looks very lonely. It needs a few nearby towers approaching its height.

HP2 will help with that to some degree, but it’ll be a while before HP1 has any other contenders in its immediate vicinity.
