Telus Gardens in DT Vancouver is very snazzy. Also was the site of an illegal clubhouse earlier in the year

Vancouver police say they have issued more than $17,000 in fines and arrested a 42-year-old man at a condo penthouse allegedly operating a “makeshift nightclub” in violation of COVID-19 public health orders.

Court records show Mohammad Movassaghi has been charged with two counts of failure to comply with an order of a health officer.

Global News cameras captured a heavy police presence and several people being escorted in handcuffs from 777 Richards St. early Sunday morning.

Not really seeing the issue here as none of that is false? If anything it's a hilariously inept advertisement that deserved to be called out.

The issue is:

To make a point about a locally contentious issue, Aryze went digging for something to further fan the divisiveness that is occurring locally. This Tweet does nothing but be further supportive of actions and ideology from a certain segment of council and the mayor while they are trying to get this development approved.

Really? Thats what you see here? It's impossible for us to have our own values?

We are a pure infill developer, we dont do any suburban development because we firmly believe that cities hold the key to creating a more livable and sustainable future. So calling out insane advertising related to car culture...

You have a suburban subdivision waiting for approval in Saanich in the Blenkinsop Valley that depends on changing the urban containment boundary to accommodate the houses you want to build.

I don't blame them. The short term game is to align politically with those forces that you feel can help advance your cause.

As I alluded to last week however, the reason why no other successful developer does that is that inevitably political leadership changes and those who picked sides find themselves on the wrong side.

That's not an Aryze project.

Does Aryze have a twitter for its suburban automobile friendly projects on farmland far from bus routes? I would love to follow it.

Well the ad is sort of funny in that we used to call the #23 bus to Esquimalt the creep bus, lol. And we knew, we used it.

The numbers changed eventually but the ole’ 23 was funny to see.

^ Before you were born Mike the 23 was the “Beckwith” buss that went up Saanich Road to Quadra to Beckwith.

It turned around there with a 7 point back and forth manoeuvre.

That was the end of the line for city bus service on the peninsula. Beyond that there was the Coach Lines complete with ash trays.

I can't tell if you are joking or not because the farm Aryze is building its subdivision on is at the end of Beckwith.
