Dude, I'd gladly pay a premium for hi-res imagery of the Slurpee that I'm about to consume. You can't put a price on anticipation. And I'd gladly pay a premium for hi-res imagery of the Slurpee that I just consumed. You can't put a price on memories. But I expect to see the mouth-watering real deal, not some hell-spawned AI-generated facsimile of a pseudo-Slurpee.

^I suppose I could do the photo/video documentation of the Slurpee myself for free, but why bother if I can just pay a lot of money for somebody else to do it?

The first case was on March 23 when it was reported that a man in Otter Point Park was following a woman with his hand in his pants.
The woman walked away and called police, who were unable to locate a suspect.
In the second incident on March 27, police were notified that a man was masturbating in the woods at Gordon’s Beach, near the 8600-block of West Coast Rd.
He was interrupted by a member of the public and left the area.

Hopefully the police can tell their side of the story on social media as well, lest people believe it really is bullying.

The club sells products at higher doses and at a lower cost than what is available on the legal market, which means it can’t apply to become licensed.

Provincial authorities raided the Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club on Tuesday, more than three years after the last raid on the unlicensed non-profit dispensary, which sells cannabis products to mostly low-income people with chronic illnesses.
Club founder Ted Smith said officers with the province’s Community Safety Unit arrived Tuesday morning shortly after the shop opened and began seizing products.
Victoria police officers also attended “to help ensure a safe working area,” a statement from the department said.
“They’re going through each room, every nook and cranny, and trying to find where any cannabis may be stored,” Smith said.
He estimated that about $100,000 worth of products was seized.
Why not just operate within the law?

Impaired drivers removed from West Shore roads over the weekend
April 22, 2026 - West Shore, British Columbia
From: West Shore RCMP
Toyota involved in single vehicle collision
File #2026-7028
West Shore RCMP Traffic Unit and Frontline officers removed three impaired drivers from the road this past weekend.
On April 18, 2026, at approximately 1:54 a.m., Frontline and Traffic Unit officers responded to a single-vehicle collision near the intersection of Sooke Road and Kelly Road in Colwood.
Upon arrival, officers located a black Toyota Tacoma with extensive front-end damage after it had struck a power pole.
The driver, a 47-year-old man, showed signs of alcohol impairment and was investigated for impaired driving. He was issued a 90-day Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP), and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
Meanwhile in Langford, officers issued an additional 90-day IRP and a 12-hour IRP in two separate unrelated impaired driving investigations.
Officers from the Community & Indigenous Policing Unit also conducted a roadblock on Admirals Road in View Royal, checking more than 100 drivers for sobriety. Four Notice & Orders were issued, along with six written warnings for other infractions.
“The risks of impaired driving extend far beyond the person behind the wheel,” said Cpl. Nancy Saggar, Media Relations Officer. “So far in 2026, we have taken 44 impaired drivers off the road. Every decision to drive impaired puts members of our community in danger. Please plan a safe way home if you choose to drink.”
If you see dangerous driving behaviour or suspect impaired driving, report it to police right away.
