ScanBC reports VicPD off at a stabbing at a housing complex in the 800 block of Johnson...

Anyone looking to buy at that new Vivid building should familiarize yourself with your neighbours at 844 Johnson

VicPD is now saying the victim was stabbed in the 800-block of Johnson Street and made his way to 844 Johnson Street to seek medical attention. They want to clarify that reports of the victim being stabbed in 844 Johnson are incorrect.

Does it ultimately matter? Geez Louise, it happened steps from the building, and the individual ran to the building. My guess is this was not a dispute between two lawyers who ran into each other at the market and pulled knives on each other.

I'm not sure why they needed seven or eight cop cars at that 844 Johnson (vicinity) stabbing if the injury was not "life threatening". I know cops don't like entering that building without plenty of backup but still.

In the TC today is the guy that attacked the TV cameraman at tent city.  He's been convicted of assault.  He lives at 844.

And what's interesting is he was a member of tent city's internal security entourage tasked with breaking up fights.

He also denied the attack, but I think that was before they played the uncut video footage filmed by the man he attacked ...the cameraman. D'oh.

It got called in as a stabbing at a specifically unknown location (general area though) with a suspect that was gone. Most of those cars were initially containment to the area to try and locate the suspect. Then a bunch stayed with the main investigators when the victim ended up at 844.

Multiple stab wounds can turn pretty ugly, fast... and although the injuries are not life threatening now, they potentially could have seemed to have been at the moment? Maybe the patient was unconscious? Bleeding excessively? Maybe they didn't know where the perpetrator had fled too? So many unknowns, so err on the side of caution. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't anyway.

I stabbed myself and my girlfriend about 100 times over the last couple of weeks. Non life-threatening injuries occurred. Where was my 8 cop car response!

"Asian" man/men gropes women in attack.

Asian is a bit vague, no?  46 countries in Asia, and I likely know the difference between must ethnic Russians, Iraqis and Japanese, in terms of looks.

There are over 4,307,000,000 Asians in the world, or 60.3 % of the population.

Ya, for any government property (any level) you go through the City:

In terms of liberal media-speak, their deliberately vague "Asian" description is really code for Islamic.

Hmmmm, Islamic is not a skin colour, or a reference to prominent facial features, not sure how that would help.

Only asian folks wear outdoor surgical masks.

That seems discriminatory. Surgeons from the other continents should also be required to wear masks when performing surgeries outdoors.

Not only that...

McEachern, who now lives in social housing at 844 Johnson St., said Brett had “registered” him as a member of an internal tent city residents’ security force, known as the peacekeepers.

I wonder if Chrissie fired him afterwards?

I would imagine McEachern was let go with a generous severance package.
