At 3 pm today a fellow was walking on Vancouver Street between Royal Athletic Park and the Pandora McDonalds carrying one of the U-Bicycles on his shoulders. It was missing the wheels and the seat. Any updates on how the program is doing?

Almost got a whole bicycle.

On Monday, March 5th, a student at Stelly’s Secondary School was arrested by Central Saanich Police.

The student was taken into custody after authorities caught wind of a social media post in which a youth can be seen firing a weapon into a target.

The disturbing part was the caption: “practicing for school“.

The student who posted the image was arrested without incident and released on a promise to appear. Central Saanich Police are recommending charges including uttering threats and mischief.

Huge police presence at Cheap hotel on Douglas. How much you want to bet they are homing in on the Hillside killer suspect.

Man in custody. Police have messaged us to say it was an enforcement of a no-contact order.

Something substantial going down at Tillicum over Gorge Bridge.  Two bodies maybe recovered.

Saw this driving home - 5 COV police cars, and 2 Saanich.

No cops to be seen near the street, they were all in the wooded area.

I don't get the heavy COV police response, as that park is in Saanich ... unless it was bodies in the water, in which case it could presumably be either.

The guys in the water probably didn't care what jurisdiction the park is in.

Probably?
I’d say “absolutely”

It was only me doing the wondering as a passerby ... as passerby’s are inclined to do.
