"If you would rather not wait, you can still get a free flag, though it won’t be one used on Parliament. You can actually just contact your local MP and ask for a Canadian flag to be sent to you, and they’ll do it. That’s it!"

Lisa isn't going to like her police chief saying this...

Victoria’s top cop says that while Victoria is still a safe city, an increase in random attacks across the region and a rise in calls for service in Beacon Hill Park is concerning. Victoria Police Chief Del Manak told CFAX 1070 Tuesday morning that public calls for service have increased by roughly 82 per cent in the Beacon Hill area compared to the same period in 2019, and reports of violent crimes in the area have risen by 29 per cent. Manak says some of the increase in crime can be attributed to tent encampments in the area...

I think he has stopped trying to please her, seeing that it would only end poorly for VicPD.

She'll be quick to throw him under the bus if she feels it's to her advantage.

Major Crimes Unit investigating after body found in downtown Victoria

https://www.iheartradio.ca/cfax-1070/news/major-crimes-unit-investigating-after-body-found-in-downtown-victoria-1.12914100

The focus of the investigation is an area behind the Capital Iron store (1900 Store St), near the waterfront of Victoria's Upper Harbour.”

Is it correct to assume that if the MCU is involved, that it is likely not an overdose?

It's all about orchestrating an emergency to force the province to act so she might feel Manak is helping her cause.

Canadian Tire?

Perhaps someone was looking for a particular item and found it was actually in stock at CT. Shocking.

Crime must be drying up because they've put the search for Paul Seal back on the front burner:

Wasn't he 50 last year?!

Perhaps the cops got wind that he was thinking of coming back to Victoria.

I heard that he was out East, developed a vaccine for Covid-19 and soon the joke will be on all of the rest of us.
