Great to know that once the entire building is completed, there will be a continuous stretch of retail from Johnson to Fisgard. How apt for the name of the street it fronts.

As of this afternoon, Store Street had both North/ South lanes open to traffic-!    

 

And just in time, for Capital Iron’s Antique Sale (we’re seriously gonna miss that great place).

Yes, but it can take a looong time if Joe Public does it.

Not only that, but the digital readout sign said that Wharf Street was closed and to seek alternate routes. In fact the work and closure was on Store Street.

I am surprised a certain forum administrator didn't try to put a halt to the construction of this building. Not only will it destroy an open view of the harbour, it will also rob the city of another beloved heritage parking lot.

The upper harbour is the Maui of the inner harbour.

I had to visit the site yesterday for work.  Things are coming along quite well inside, the entire water half of the building has drywall up and cabinets on the walls.  Bathrooms are tiled and showers installed.

There is still a lot of work to do.  My guess would be June or July.

Given concrete isn't finished on the east side I am going to guess September.
