Simpson said that nearly 4,000 tickets have been sold for the opening Pacific FC game against the HFX Wanderers and that we are “trending toward a sellout.” He added that more than 1,000 season tickets have been sold: “We are looking for organic growth. We’re definitely on the right track.”

“The MLS paid for its broadcasting for 13 years before it got a deal. We got a broadcasting deal in our first year,” said Victoria-raised Simpson, a former European pro player, who was capped 43 times for Canada.

“Now, Mediapro has taken it one step forward and landed CBC. This is as good as it gets.”

6 days out and pacific fc has not told us how to park or where to catch a shuttle. they only have 300 parking spaces for an expected crowd of 5000. this seems odd.

it’s an 18 minute walk from the weatshore town centre - if you are allowed to park there. the equivalent distance of walking from the jsb to royal athletic.

who knows. maybe they are really only expecting 2000 this subday.

it also seems odd they are opening the gates 3 hours before kickoff and fireworks are scheduled for 8:23pm - nearly 4.5 hours after kickoff. do they really expect people to spend over 7 hours at the park?

ah excellent.

if you commit to a shuttle you have to be in for 6.5 to 8+ hours though.

that’s a long day to watch a 90 minute soccer game. this might be ok for game #1. but I fear it’s problematic still for the next 14 games.

There appears to be a parking lot nearing completion north of the new Leigh Road/Langford Parkway interjection. It’s not big though. Maybe 100 cars?

Know it all.

i think they likely have this problem.  they quite understandably do not want to hurt tickets sales by saying parking is going to be a nightmare.  but at some point they are going to have to tell people there is literally nowhere to legally park.

Where is parking located surrounding Westhills Stadium?
Parking lots are located near Glen Lake, Langford Lake road.

What happens if my car gets towed?

If your vehicle is parked illegally in the street or at one of the parking lots surrounding Westhills Stadium, it may be towed by the lot owner or the City Of Langford.

Guests should be aware of signage in lots at all times.

  • No Parking
  • Customer Only
  • Handicap
  • Fire Lane
  • Visitors
  • Authorized
  • Time Restrictions e.g., 15 minutes only
  • Reserved Stalls

Pacific FC is not responsible for any vehicles that are towed.

Supporters section sold out. I hope they all realize how loud it's going to be in that section. So far we have 5 drums and one bagpipe confirmed. :)

Great news!

Although, they may want to reconsider using the term 'sold out', as it sounds like some tickets are still available.
