looks like about half the cover is now on the far stands.

They have parking signs out directing folks where to go and they are opening up Belmont school parking lot as well, which is very close.
For evening games the parking lots for businesses along the Parkway should be available as well.

over 8,000 people did not show up at Hamilton yesterday.
1/3 of the ticket holders.
The weather was distinctly uncomfortable according to people who were there - damn cold and 35 mph winds. As many of the tix were free, lots of folks probably weren't as committed to a few hours outside...fortunately the weather looks good for Pacific FC this afternoon.

T-minus 35 minutes until kick-off.
Hopefully a good end to the weekend over here in Halifax!

Fairly even game. 0 : 1 was a fair scoreline.

First game of the season, not terribly gutted to lose the opening game, on the road no less.
Fairly even game. 0 : 1 was a fair scoreline.
Brayvehart....thanks for the comments. We looked to see if we could get tickets today but it was sold out. Great day for the first game.

I drove past, looked great and amazed that they got it all together for that first game. I'm sure kinks in the parking process will get sorted out. Well done to Pacific FC and Westhills Stadium for getting it all together. Nice to see the support for the team!

Is tailgating legal in BC (I'm guessing no since we're not allowed to have fun)?

I think that you can apply for an event-related liquor license and serve alcohol in a controlled area, but you cannot have an informal BYOB circling of the wagons.

there was a total of 4 shots in sunday's game. that's one of the problems with soccer from some spectators' points of view.
