Is tailgating legal in BC (I'm guessing no since we're not allowed to have fun)?

We don't want to know, we are having fun. :)

there was a total of 4 shots in sunday's game.  that's one of the problems with soccer from some spectators' points of view.

Only if the spectator is not paying attention. ;)

Judging from the trees and clothing in the Halifax pics, the calendar in Halifax must be two months behind?

Just razzing, relax. They noted it here:

Summer is a still more than a month away, and it’s still cold and grey in Halifax. The drizzling conditions on Saturday didn’t dampen the passion or spirit of local soccer enthusiasts...

Winnipeg's Stadium is on University of Manitoba grounds

Halifax's is within walking distance of downtown

Calgary is 20km from downtown, but a much larger city

Goes back to the Wanderers Amateur Athletics Club established in 1882. Some history on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia...r_Athletic_Club

Apparently Calgary totally failed on the traffic front. People were stuck in cars in some cases for over an hour. There are stories of people getting into the ground in the second half and other who gave up and went home rather than continue to wait in their cars.

They also had snow during the game which may have depressed attendance, but which makes the above even more concerning. If more people had showed up the traffic issues, I assume, would have been worse.

Calgary weather is crazy. It snowed last week, yet it's supposed to be 24 this Saturday.

You're keeping careful track of this VW. What average attendance do you think the Victoria team needs to be considered a success? Is the league on solid financial footing?

Don't be so sure.
