There’s really nothing to see yet, to be honest.

Know it all.

It does seem odd that they would charge more than Royals and way more than harbour cats

Canada Sevens women's rugby event is a bit more expensive, but it's a two-day ticket that gives you access to every single game. Much higher value IMO.

Are either of those teams in a national professional league playing in the top tier of their sport in Canada?

With all due respect, the CPL is at the top level of the Canadian pyramid out of a publicity stunt more than anything else. Anyone who truly believes this league is on par with MLS has drank a bit too much Kool-Aid. You could even make the argument that the USL is a higher quality league than the CPL, yet somehow is placed beneath the CPL on the pyramid. CSA at least has it right for the Voyageur Cup seeding, putting these guys at the first and second qualifying rounds, leaving the USL/MLS to enter in round 3.

I wish this league all the success in the world, but come on...

^ that's a valid point; it is weird to me that CPL just doesn't feel like its at that level.

isn't MLS the top tier?

shamrocks play at a similar tier as cpl.  their tickets are about $14.

CPL is supposed to be competing vs MLS in Concacaf. So that puts them at the same tier.

It really doesn't. EIHL plays against the SHL in Champians Hockey League. They're not in the same area code of quality

Well, there's the amateur bus leagues (Royals and Harbourcats and semi-pro Shamrocks) vs professional costs and the enormous travel budget in the CPL (stretches from Vic to Halifax).

I'd also note that there are well-priced ticket packages for Pacific FC (6 games for $99).

but does a higher operating cost mean they can charge more for tickets and get buyers)?  or does it just mean they need to charge higher?

Are two teams sponsored by Volkswagen? Is that what that is on the front of our jerseys?
