So build underground? I don't think what you are saying makes sense. It is far cheaper to maximize the density of land then to spread it out at low heights.

Also there's still a huge need for childcare in the city.

Why should I pay for your childcare? Pay for your own kids. Or don’t have them.

I’m ok with welfare towers as long as also free market towers can build as high.

I don't even understand social housing with that kind of view. Not that poor people should not be able to have nice views. But we should not pay for it.

Don't put elevators in the buildings; those who want the view have to work for it. As a bonus, they will get themselves into shape and will be able to do more work.
