That section of the building is the one small bit of hope I am holding onto at this point in the construction.

What we need is another twelve towers just like it and then we can compete with Pittsburgh for our unique charm and ambience.

Just to clarify, the parked cars I've been flipping were parked in front of Mike K.'s house.

This is where Mike K.'s furry Fiat has its advantages. No damage whenever somebody flips it, and no waking the neighbours whenever it gets flipped in the middle of the night.

The Caddy, the F550 and the turbo Sprint?
No chance. Mike K. stores those vehicles securely on the second level of the auxiliary garage (the one with the ochre travertine exterior and gold plating on the doors -- you can't miss it, it's between the Roman-themed guest house and the Polynesian-themed guest house, just past the Arabian-themed guest house).

I heard he is parking his new Abrahms out front now.

You're mistaking me for my neighbour, John Asfar. I'm the guy next to the Roman-themed guest house. You've been egging the wrong guy's house, dude.

HP2 should have been built slightly further south.

19 floors have been framed/poured. I am guessing the rebar goes to about the level of the 21st floor.

From some angles east/northeast of downtown this building and the office block between Pandora and Cormorant look like they're a twin tower project. Both of them have similar plain white panel cladding and small windows.
This picture by thegreatscaper at flickr.com shows what I was getting at. But upon further review I think I wasn't giving the windows on the office block enough props. They seem generously large by comparison to the windows on the apartment tower.

Agreed. The window-to-wall ratio is better on the office building.

Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure that's an air traffic right-of-way for the floatplanes.
