For something related to an ongoing dispute with City Hall, it would seem.  Just in case we were thinking it was something more salacious or felonious.

Probably because of the tree cutting thing.

I don't think anyone's ever been arrested for cutting down a tree unless they put up a fight about it.

It doesn't appear editing the title of the thread is an option, my apologies for the error.  BTW - I think there's an extra "l" in your version.

As I understand the story, it was the City of Colwood that cut down trees adjacent to Ms Day's property and she has objected to this. She believes she was targeted due to her position on some council issues.

Likely related to this tree cutting issue, per the linked tweet.

Doing hit searches on BC Laws it seems we use two l's but it certainly is one of those words that is in the grey (gray?) area.

Ohh, mannn...I hope that she isn't going to get all snitty and go off and build another Bear Mountain!

Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?

Ah, here we go with some actual info:

A dispute over the planting of trees and installation of a rock wall by Colwood property owners Tim and Cynthia Day on municipal property has resulted in the arrest of Cynthia Day today December 5, after she stood in the way of maintenance crews who came to remove the wall.

A tree is all we're talking about. I thought it was a statue or something important.

Good grief there seems to be only five properties on Charnley Place and none of the trees look to be an issue on Street View.

Unable to see the wall they are talking about. I wonder if the trees are the real issue, or perhaps there is something else going on.
