That light display is exactly the kind of thing I think Esquimalt should pursue.  Get a reputation for unique and modern designs that Victoria won't approve

Is there a plan to turn this part of Esquimalt into Vegas north?

I wonder, does the Military ever worry that these condos will have direct sightlines into the base?

I think the thread is mistitled. 681-685 Admirals, not Esquimalt Rd.

Nope; modern military satellites and various signals intelligence methods and technologies will tell an adversary all they ever need to know about this or any base, far beyond what some guy peering through his Zeiss binoculars on a balcony could discern. Ever been to CFB Halifax? Back in the day Warsaw Pact commercial trawlers from Poland particularly used to be parked literally arms length from our destroyers and subs....

FWIW I like this building design. Off to the FB page now to reek some havoc in the "Comments" section.... :)

I like the design, hope it doesn't get beaten into conformity by the time it breaks ground.
