^For my dad it was Chinatown pool halls. Our dads were not Ward Cleaver.
This sounds like a great partnership. And a rare opportunity to see inside one of the last big industrial buildings from the last century in its original state.

& lefebvre does also: https://www.lefevreg...powerhouse.html
omg greenery! in rock bay!
it's just like the bankside power station in london where people weren't allowed to go for a long time. then it was converted to the tate modern, creating a reason for people to go to that part of town. & judging by comments online it has already started with this powerhouse building. this could be what really gets the ball rolling in the rock bay neighbourhood.

Such potential. Might make a great maritime museum.

It would be an amazing restaurant like the Tap & Barrel in Olympic Village or North Van.

I checked this out around 8:30 last night--it was great to see activity inside after so many decades. And the area around is completely transformed. It no longer feels like an off-limits wasteland. The new paving and boulevards complete the effect. It's like fresh healthy tissue growing where before there was only cancer. An added bonus is you now get a very good view of the Hydro lands. I highly recommend seeing it for yourself.

Island Realm's new office is situated adjacent to the Powerhouse in an ancillary building fronting Discovery Street at Store Street. Le Fever did a great job on the restoration, wow.
Q&A with Island Realm's CEO Tony Zarsadias.
