A biologist from the Shaw centre says it was just the seal eating a large fish. She posted this on her fb page yesterday, we all thought it was a shark eating the seal due to the amount of blood but a seal eating a 40lb fish would be messy.

for that amount of blood then for the seal to pop its head up again yes i agree the seal is not the one being harmed.

I don't think there's any blood in that spray. To my eye it just looks like the sun going down.

 

Anyway, are we sure this whole thing isn't just a promotional tie-in with Telus Ocean?
