looks like it's the alt right again.

Two teens sought by police in connection to three killings in northern British Columbia have expressed far-right ideology online, and one posed for photos of himself in Nazi wear, reports the Globe and Mail.

The Globe reports that Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky are “linked” to a YouTube page called Illusive Gameing [sic]. VICE viewed a Facebook account with a similar username that was connected to the two men on Tuesday, but it has since been deleted. The Globereports that there are similarly-named accounts on the video game streaming platform Twitch and digital games marketplace Steam. These accounts reportedly feature a heady mix of far-right ideology, hentai, and Soviet imagery.

Far right ideology and Soviet imagery. Aren’t those polar opposites?

The first flag for me as a parent was when they wanted to head north to find work. In this climate you should be able to go 10 miles in any direction and have multiple jobs available.

It's less about a specific ideology, and more about a fascination with the most extreme forms of government, I like to call them political extremophiles. They're usually a little unhinged.

rcmp just went live to say they have two confirmed and collaborated gillam sightings that both occurred before the car was burned out. but they have no reports of a stolen additional car. so they are somewhat sure they remain in that area.

That's where they worked before their trip up north.

Not in Port Alberni.

They could have gone to Nanaimo and had work the same day, no need to drive to Whitehorse.

Bryer Schmegelsky, Kam McLeod seen at Meadow Lake, Sask. Co-op store in newly-released video

police have still not said what makes them a suspects in the couples murder.

well or the other one either but they must have given crown enough on that one to get charges laid.  and even though they have not said it it's pretty clear the rav 4 belonged to the dead guy.

Presumably the forensic evidence at the site of the later murder was more definitive.

If I were these guys I would have stolen a car in Regina or Edmonton from an airport long term parking lot then driven the Rav4 to Manitoba, torch it, and drive the other car out.

I couldn’t even steal my own car if I can’t find the keys.

The Canadian military has landed in Gillam, Man., and will join the search for two young homicide suspects in Northen Manitoba.

The Department of National Defence confirmed in a written statement that a Royal Canadian Air Force CC-130H Hercules aircraft from 435 Transport and Rescue Squadron in Winnipeg will assist with an aerial search.

The statement said an RCMP officer will be on board the aircraft to direct the search and said this remains an RCMP-led effort.
