Rumored to be either a new class of ICBM or possibly a submarine-launched cruise missile powered by a small nuclear reactor which malfunctioned - to say the least - literally on the launch pad, which was apparently seaborne as opposed to land-based. Gee what could go wrong? Radiation levels at the nearest major city spiked to 16x normal background levels. Guess those folks might have the answer some years down the road.....
