Should have been taller.
Agreed - I found it comical to look at the "Views" section on their website - Views — Mod (modvictoria.com)
The fifth floor is substantially higher than the 6th at B&W, 10th floor is the same height as the 17th at 1020 View, and the 15th makes it look the same height as the 25 storey HP1

Yeah, those depictions of the views would seem to be way off.

For what it's worth, Harris Green Village's 15th floor is equal to 1020 Yates' 17th floor, so on a concrete build you might actually have a fifth floor at or just above the 6th on a woodframe. It's all a question of how the building is designed.
Then look behind at Tara Place (I think that's what the 10-storey building is behind HGV?). What's not clear from this diagram is if the outlines of the buildings are with the mech penthouse, or not.

I see what you mean in the variance of grade and building storeys, but seems all devs have moved to standard 8'6" floor to ceiling height unless it is a high end project - I was just poking fun in that the claimed view from Mod's 5th (and subsequently higher floors) is comically higher and substantially clears both B&W and Mosiac to provide some slick ocean and mountain views. The 10th floor view is right on par with the 17th of 1020 view, 18th of View Towers and the top of 989 Johnsons east tower.
Edit: because I was actually quite curious: Mod was approved at a height of 47.57M. 1020 View is about 54M. HP1 is 85.5M.

I suspect the 54m is up to the mechanical penthouse, and Mod's 47m is up to the roof of the 15th floor, I think?
The 21-storey HGV tower is 75m to the top of the mechanical penthouse (peak of the above diagram). In the above diagram, HGV's 15th floor roof is about 50.49m (equal to top of the diagram of 1020 View), so 54m for 1020 might be quite off.

Yeah, I was just commenting on how exaggerated the views seem on their page... when the 10th floor view is at the same height as the 17th of 1020 view, I'm gonna say that isn't exactly realistic - that's all I'm saying.

That's a 10-storey building next door, for comparison's sake.

Nparker goes on a totally berserk photo tour!
Well, he did just get his first phone with a camera, so there's that.

It sounds like the developers are working on a presentation suite that will open within the building relatively soon.
