An artist's concept of Tallwood 1, a 12-storey, 124-unit purpose-built rental tower (seen in the background) now rising along the 2800-block of Peatt Road in downtown Langford. The tower, along with an adjacent five-storey office complex to its south (in the foreground) and a 12-storey highrise rental tower to its north (not depicted in the image above), will be built utilizing state-of-the-art mass timber construction materials.

it just needs something to break it up.  or a colour pattern or stripe or something.

A wrecking ball or a fire would probably help break it up.

Just stating my opinion. This is not an attractive looking building.

But to wish for it to burn down? That’s not nice.

The office component is fine. The tower...........OTOH.....................is not. Woof! I dub thee.......eldest "Son of Fatscaper", second cousin to "William the Wide Wood" and paternal uncle of "Stefan the Stout and Stubby"......

They will need to improve Peatt Road, it's barely two lanes now in a lot of spots.

Life's a journey......so roll down the window and enjoy the breeze.

I think marketing went a little overboard with the wood theme for the drawings.  There are no walls just gigantic sheets of glass showing an empty inside with interior posts like it is half finished.   If you are able to look past that or look past that is has some sort of connection to Langford, it might be OK.  We'll see.

Parking is included with every suite. Floorplans range from 650 to 1,170 square feet in one, two, two-plus den configurations.
