What if someone has a skin infection or illness that resembles "monkey pox"? Does this make them an anti-vaxxer? It's frightening how quickly people are willing to jump to conclusions.

An analysis of excess deaths in Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic shows wide variation by province and underscores the need for better and consistent data for current and future health crisis management. The article is published in CMAJ (Canadian Medical Association Journal) https://www.cmaj.ca/...503/cmaj.220337.
Excess deaths (obtained from Statistics Canada) are the difference between the actual reported numbers of deaths and the expected numbers. Using publicly available data, the analysis looked at deaths in Canadian provinces from March 2020 to October 2021 to explore excess deaths overall and those related to COVID-19 before the Omicron wave. Death rates varied widely, with the highest COVID-19 mortality rate in Quebec and the lowest in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. Ontario is the province where excess deaths and COVID-19 deaths rose and fell in closest alignment. British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan all had higher overall excess mortality than other provinces. In BC, there was a spike in deaths from the excessive heat wave in summer 2021.
There are several possible explanations for this wide variability in death rates during the pandemic. A few examples are provincial differences and limitations in COVID-19 testing, reporting practices of cause of death, and different public health measures such as business and school closures, mask mandates and other public health events.

Gee, ya think?
I hope history ends up judging Justin Trudeau as the worst Canadian Prime Minister (since his father).

Opposition motion to remove travel restrictions denied in House of Commons
The motion was sponsored by the Conservative Party’s Melissa Lantsman, who cited that citizens are currently “experiencing unacceptable wait times at Canadian airports” and that “current restrictions have been cited by experts as ineffective and contributing to additional delays, costs, and confusion.”
Canada is currently the only country in the world still banning domestic travel for unvaccinated citizens. Various countries around the world, including New Zealand and Australia — two countries with the strictest COVID-19 requirements at the height of the pandemic — now allow their unvaccinated citizens to fly internationally.

Symbolism. He is above us all. We are the ones standing behind in obedience. It's just sick to see this.

A Canada without an abundance of handguns? ... you bet!
With the current (relatively longstanding) laws in place, handguns are essentially useless in Canada.
You can't move about freely with them on your body, or in many cases, you can't move about freely with them in your possession.
They're not needed for hunting, and long guns with magazines containing 5 or less bullets are easily available to law abiding Canadians for hunting.
So "yes", this is definitely the Canada I want to live in!
(but then you were probably taking about the masks, being worn by folks making a personal choice to wear them, folks not realizing that "dasmo on the internet" was going to have a personal problem with their personal decision to wear a mask in order to take precautions against COVID).

What makes you assume a handgun ban will result in less Canadian criminals with handguns?
Let's ask the police:
Guns used in crimes are coming from U.S., not legal gun owners: police chiefs

Good point, and somewhat addressed by noting substantial funding for increased enforcement of existing laws, which if you dig down, includes securing (as best can be secured) the borders from ongoing illegal importation of handguns.
But the simple fact is that much (in fact most) of the Canadian/American border isn't even a fence, but often just a shallow ditch, and very often not even a shallow ditch.
Walking across the border without anybody bothering you (with your backpack full of handguns) is a reality along vast portions of our border with the U.S.

It also projects "do as I say, not as I do"; admittedly, this is the perfect motto for Justin Trudeau.
