Not sure how emails between aids in the PMO about covering up PPE acquisition is a "conspiracy theory"

An earlier post said that we are expecting to receive about 450,000 doses a weekl going forward. That is a little less than 2 million doses a month or enough to do about a million people a month. |Assuming that we need to vaccinate about 25 million people we are talking about not September but actually more than two years from today.

Because that's just garden variety PR damage control about PPE inventory numbers. My question was specifically about the difficulty of acquiring vaccines.

Health Canada's chief medical adviser said today the department is poised to make a decision on whether to authorize a promising COVID-19 vaccine from AstraZeneca in the coming days.
Dr. Supriya Sharma told the House of Commons health committee that the regulator has received all the necessary scientific information from the company but is still looking into questions about labelling and the product monograph — the information disseminated by Health Canada to medical professionals about how and when a vaccine should be administered and in what groups.

I wonder if a government with a track record of lying about procurement of supplies would continue to do that. Nah. That's a conspiracy theory, so there bigot.

Stephen Malthouse, MD Denman Island, BC ...Surprisingly, the recommendation for reducing COVID-19 morbidity and mortality by supplementing with vitamin D, a measure that is supported by high-quality research, has been absent from your frequent public broadcasts and professional bulletins.7 Optimizing nutrition is a convenient, inexpensive, and safe method of improving immune resistance and has been confirmed through numerous studies for both prevention and treatment of COVID-19. As far as I am aware, you have never mentioned something as simple as vitamin D supplements for our most vulnerable citizens. Yet, it was the promise to protect these same citizens that was used to justify the lockdown of a healthy population and the closure of businesses...

Ahead of the official announcement from Premier François Legault this afternoon, Radio-Canada is reporting that all Quebecers over 80 will be able to get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine starting next week, while people between the ages of 70 and 79 who live in Montreal can also get the shot.
Legault will be making the announcement at 1 p.m. from the Olympic Stadium, one of several mass vaccination sites opening up in Montreal. Other sites include Palais des Congrès (already in operation) and Decarie Square, where, according to Cult MTL sources, the vaccine is being administered to Montrealers over 70 (by special appointment) as soon as this Friday.
