I voted no and tried. It wouldn’t let me vote again. I always check. Maybe it’s only letting the yes votes vote again?

You just have to clear your cookies in your browser and you can vote as many times as you wish.

That's always the issue with these kinds of polls that require no registration, and/or confirmation of that registration.

You can (and folks do) have a secondary browser they only use for polls, and simply clear the cookie each time before voting multiple (often hundreds of) times.

As long as both sides cheat equally the results will net out!

The BCGEU has issued 72-hour strike notice, putting them in a legal position to take job action as of Monday afternoon.

The bargaining committee representing 33,000 members of the B.C. General Employees’ Union who work for the provincial government issued the notice Friday afternoon.

The union has not released details about the job action.

“The bottom line is they’re not asking for anything that MLAs don’t already have. The strike vote in June and issuing strike notice today is a message to government that our members are serious.”

My email started blowing up yesterday, sales reps and industry associations all saying “don’t panic, we don’t know how this will impact your liquor operations yet” .. uh huh.

You can bet Dr BH is in the same ballpark as the BC Govt won’t release her comp. if you then add in her 24/7 security and running team I am sure we are into 7 figures.

A lot of people in government made a lot of money from a minor virus.

Almost everyone in the private sector lost money.

I was wondering. Does BC no longer release a Sunshine list?

You might glean something from thishttps://thebreaker.n...enry-contract/  I suspect it's far from the full picture.

There is also the public sector salary database published by the Vancouver Sun, but she's probably not listed there: https://vancouversun...e-10th-edition

In these times of short staffing, I make a point of tipping MORE.

I will not tip McD's or tow truck drivers or when I go pick up food I have ordered. You are paying them to make the food, that is their job, they didn't provide me with any service, and in some cases they piss me off when they don't get your order right, or you have to go through the order several times.

Canada's inflation slows to 7.6% in July

Statistics Canada says the country's year-over-year inflation rate slowed to 7.6 per cent in July.

The drop from the nearly 40-year high of 8.1 per cent in June was driven by a decline in gas prices.
