The site at 298 Island Highway is currently home to Namaste Indian Restaurant, and formerly it was Amrikko's since circa 2010, and for a very long time it was Sammy's Chinese Food.

Redev of Island Highway and Helmcken Road property in View Royal could include a Red Barn Market

Hmm, interesting. This area is well served by transit and close to the E&N and schools.

Good to see. My ideal city is one where nearly all residents are within a 10 minute walk of a grocery store, so I'm always happy to see more and more smaller-scale grocery stores like Red Barn popping up as opposed to giants like Costco or the Superstore that encourage people to drive from one end of town to the other for their food.
