Selections aren’t democratic anyway. It’s evident we only have an illusion of democracy. IDK. We can at least make it more difficult for them and actually vote.

The trust is just another corporation projecting control. Form your own business association and incorporate that. Use your dues to support ignoring the trust when needed via a legal team to make things difficult for them.

I hear you. But fighting can also be exactly this. Just don't obey with their nonsense. It is worth keeping an eye on things however uninterested you want to be. Otherwise you might find your location being incorporated and the new lords rezoning it into something else and you lose your business. Hyperbole? Maybe. But then again, saying men are not women is now a hate crime so don't be so sure....
