I’d cook food for my shepherd from scratch. To avoid paying the carbon tax.

I’d just befriend a wild wolf or coyote or fox. So it hunts its own food in the neighbourhood. Plus you save on the municipal dog license cost.

I might argue pets allow us to exert our dominance over another creature with absolute authority. Some maybe most people enjoy that aspect.

You've obviously never owned a cat.

Many people on that list should be banned from entering Canada.

Asked about angry drivers taking it upon themselves to drag “Save Old Growth” protesters off a major commuter route in Vancouver this week, Horgan said that is their real intent, as described in a Youtube video where an organizer says it’s to generate conflict videos that spread quickly and drive online fundraising.

“There have been disruptions in the South Island, there are plans by this marginal group to disrupt other peoples’ lives,” Horgan told reporters in Victoria April 21. “And their objective, they’ve made it clear – You can find it on Youtube. Their objective is not to save old growth, it’s to make people angry.”

Why is the government even involved in daycare?

I give my kids a little shot of rum at 8:30am each workday, and they are usually out until 6pm. It works great.

^It’s a sad testament to our uncaring society that a hard working parent has to buy his own rum to soothe his children.  Jagmeet Singh should add this to his dental care plan.

John Horgan looks frailer every time I see him.  In the last few months he has morphed from a robust, bull necked middle aged guy to a pale old man.  I’ve got to think he will resign soon.  That could result in a provincial election sooner rather than later.  This museum thing is going to be a heavy albatross around the neck of the next leader.

I’m surprised the BC Liberals haven't announced their name change plans yet. What are they waiting for?

Holy smokes. Posted just minutes ago:

B.C. Liberals approve process to consider party name change
https://www.cbc.ca/n...-2022-1.6485914

Members of British Columbia's Liberal Party have approved a process to potentially change the party's name by the end of the year.

Party members voted on the resolution at a convention in Penticton Saturday that welcomed new leader Kevin Falcon, and sought to define the party's strategy for the next election, which is scheduled for the fall of 2024.

The resolution passed Saturday will give all members of the B.C. Liberal Party the chance to vote on a new name or maintain the current one by the end of the year.
