Glad to see someone taking care of my duties while I am on vacation.

Don’t worry, I’m taking good care of Victoria while you’re gone.

SOGI is a BC provincial government mandate. It will probably be an election issue now that the issues are coming to light. I think it’s on topic.

Well when it becomes one you can post it here. Till then it would be appropriate to use the school thread

The surgery is kind of sketchy while some have a medical backing to their philosophy as they may have not been clearly born a man or a woman, others just want a change.

Good friend up till the age of puberty, now find out has a botched vagina. Last I checked was in pain, addicted to painkillers, can’t work. Last I checked a few years back(but may have changed) only one place in Canada you can get a sex change, Montreal(if I remember correctly), one of their patients did throw molotov cocktail into the operating room at one point.

None of this affects me. It’s not a black-and-white issue… I think. Certainly inflatable boobs isn’t an issue.

No kids affects what affects you big time. The future is less important to you.
Inflatable boobs is no problem.
A school teacher wearing them with giant nipples and skin tight tops while teaching class and no one being allowed to mention it is a problem.
The brochure wasn’t for schools. It was for young parents. Produced by our provincial government.
I’ll let the mods boss me around on this.

Plus it’s a government issue. I have people in my life that are trans, gay, non-binary. It’s not an issue with people and who they want to be or who they love. It’s about government mandates to integrate the sexualization of children not only through schools but also other areas like parental guidance etc. AND the forbidding of talking about this aspect!

Skin tight tops are nothing new in school. How do big fake boobs affect the education? Do you immediately sexualize that kind of thing? She might be a creep but no reason to hold it against her. Must’ve been a big day the first time teacher walked into a classroom with a bow tie on.

It’s different, who cares.

B.C. Liberals could become B.C. United party in rebranding push

The party’s name change is part of leader Kevin Falcon’s quest to rebrand and revitalize the party.

Now that the potential new name has been revealed, all 45,000 party members will be asked by the end of the year to vote on whether to rebrand or stick with the status quo.

While I understand that the Liberal moniker has been significantly tarnished by JT and his Ottawa henchmen, "United Party" really doesn't tell me anything. Perhaps that's just as well.

If anything, it calls to mind the UCP in Alberta, which is not what I’d consider a favourable comparison.

Unity means “ The state or quality of being one or united into a whole.”
That’s the problem with everything these days. There is only one, government approved way. We need harmony, not unity.
Harmony means “ A relationship in which various components exist together without destroying one another.”

Interesting in Alberta. Kenny decides 51% is not enough to stay on. New person wins with 53%.

New person is on point! This feels good to hear from someone in this position.
“We will not be told what to put in our bodies in order to work or to travel” boom.
