The unreasonable use of the Emergencies Act in February, strongly suggests that the Prime Minister and his government are not operating in the best interest of all Canadians. I applaud anyone who is willing to stand up to tyranny.

"This historic legislation will help protect our economic growth and prosperity from intrusive federal policies that encroach upon our legislative sovereignty," Justice Minister and Attorney General Bronwyn Eyre said. "It is time to draw the line and assert our constitutional rights."
The Act amends the Constitution of Saskatchewan to clearly confirm Saskatchewan's sovereign autonomy and asserts Saskatchewan's exclusive legislative jurisdiction under the Constitution of Canada

Is that what happened? I am just being told there are issues with their IT and orders are delayed, etc. Sure enough, last order the driver literally walked up with three boxes.

We the people are making too much money. We might even be able to afford our own homes at this rate. So bank of Canada raises the rates at an insane rate so we suffer and cut back spending so we don't make as much money and companies don't need as much labour. The other thing they will do is increase the supply of labour so we are not in demand and our wages go back down.

With party members gathering at the Westin hotel in Ottawa, results are expected to be announced at 8 p.m. local time in a race that features six candidates.
Four of those candidates have paired up to campaign in two separate joint tickets, promising that if one of them is elected leader, the other will be appointed deputy leader until a constitutional amendment allowing co-leadership can be put to party members.

Racing to become the leader of the Green Party is like fighting for the last deck chair on the Titanic.

Elizabeth May has once again been named leader of the Green Party of Canada, after three years away from the job. She ran with Jonathan Pedneault, and the two plan to share the top spot, but it will take a change of the party’s constitution for co-leadership to be official.
“It’s a little bit of déjà vu, but it’s not the same thing,” May said in her victory speech. “I am not here alone, I’m here with my partner, the youngest candidate in the race.”
May won on the sixth and final ballot with 4,666 votes, the party announced Saturday night in Ottawa, with just fewer than 50 people in attendance.

They claim this was just a joke:
“You need to get the police to move. And the CAF if necessary. Too many people are being seriously adversely impacted by what is an occupation,” Lametti texted to Mendicino.
“How many tanks are you asking for. I just wanna ask (Defence Minister) Anita (Anand) how many we’ve got on hand,” was the reply.
- https://nationalpost...om-convoy-tanksThe texts were shown to Lametti during his Wednesday testimony. Commissioners did not specifically ask the justice minister whether he was seriously considering the deployment of tanks, and Lametti implied that it was a joke.
“In these kinds of interactions I’m interacting with a colleague and a friend, so there will be banter, there will be occasional attempts at bad humour on both of our parts,” he said.
Using heavy armour to dislodge an intransigent protest would mark a precedent never before seen in even the most violent examples of civil unrest from Canada’s past.

Freeland just testified that Canada voted for mandates which is why the protest was illegal.... Canadian Civil Liberties cross.

She sure had a hard time just saying yes to the question "Do you agree the right to protest in Canada should be protected?" Eventually she had to just say it.
