I live MUCH closer to this project than most Burnside-Gorge residents and I couldn't care less about the height and density.

 

Yes, but that's why you can't see the issues clearly. Being a resident of North Park you're too close to the site. You're right there. Same thing for downtown residents. This site is in their proverbial backyards. But residents of Burnside-Gorge are many blocks away at least, so they can grasp the bigger picture. Kudos to them for raising concerns about developments in Burnside-Gorge that are so far away from Burnside-Gorge.

You're right aastra. I lack the proper perspective on issues that directly impact my neighbourhood. Fortunately, I have agencies like BC Housing, Our Place and the PHS to give me the clarity I am unable to achieve on my own.
