Check out the walkways in Van during the summer, they can get pretty packed. Also if you're checking them out during the day in non summer periods, you should figrue most people are at work.

No I meant that it was dead for the two whole days I spent in the area and Coal Harbour in general was DEAD morning noon and night. Where are all the people that apparently live there? Compared to all the other areas of Van I found this area strange and not in sync.

Yeah Coal Harbour is pretty slow, but it does get better in the summer than about now. I had a pre-natal course down there last summerand it got some traffic, not like the other parts, but it is improving. Still not sure if anyone lives down there or not though!
